Why Do We Get More Colds In The Winter ?

it’s a matter of greater exposure to germs. In winter we spend more time indoors with other people. Coughs and sneezes spray germs into still, indoor air, which then linger on door handles and light switches for hours or days afterwards. In the summer, ultraviolet in the sunlight kills germs, open windows circulate the air and we spend our lunch hour in the park.
